Homecoming Scotland 2009 celebrates the 250th anniversary of Robert Burns' birth with a year-long programme of events across Scotland.

Some of Scotland's great contributions to the world are being celebrated, such as golf, whisky, great minds and innovations as well as Scotland's rich culture and heritage.

As the ancestral home of the Clan Galbraith, Culcreuch Castle looks forward to welcoming many returning Clan Members during the year.

The Gathering 2009 will surely be one of the signature events of Homecoming Scotland 2009.
On the 25th and 26th July 2009 Edinburgh will witness one of the largest clan gatherings in history.
Holyrood Park will host a magnificent Highland Games over the two days, then on the Saturday evening Clan members will parade up the historic Royal Mile and take their seats on the castle esplanade for a spectacular Clan Pageant.
Members or relatives of the Clan Galbraith are recommended to contact Culcreuch Castle early, if they intend "coming home" to Scotland in 2009 and wish to visit the Clan's Ancestral Home.
